Yes I'm wearing puffy director's pants
I'm taking a directing class as my very last university course ever. Tomorrow we get do our first round of casting for our first performance. My casting plan is a two step plan:
Step 1: Cast my friends
Step 2: Cast good looking people.
So yeah, really step 2 is the most important.
My play will be Ionesco's "The Lesson." The script is a mix of "theatre of cruelty," and "theatre of the absurd"... which in other words means: a hilarious romp into the inner workings of the bourgeoisie establishment's conformist mind.
Er, I think.
