And the Oscars drag on..
So I successfully managed to innacuratly guess all but 4 of the winners lastnight, and the music tributes seemed to just go on and on. But on the plus side I found a page that clearly details some of the mistake from past Acadamy award shows, including the time Laurence Olivier forgot to announce who the nominees for best picture were, and simply opened the envolope and read the winner. Read it all here.

Creepy Computer Fun
I installed windows 2000 lastnight on my computer (twice.. I made the crazy mistake of trying to upgrade the Logitech mouse driver. Grrrr.). So in my search of new things to install on it, I came across a lil' program called Headcase. It creates a bizzarly disturbing floating head on your desktop that will say anything you type into it. I believe it works on Win 95/98 too, so go ahead and knock yourself out.

I keep thinking about setting up my own webcam, what with my fly cable-connection and all, but I don't think anybody wants to see what I do at my computer...

Gimmi some o' dat Mac
Since I've been in a very mac mood after buying my Mac SE, I was interested to come across this article. Apparently you can get a pre-built pc for half the price of a G4 (which comes to $3,378). Talking about high performance computing, I found out that I could upgrade my Mac SE from 2.5mb of RAM, to a maximum of 4mb for just $9.

Hello Sparky
I brought a new (old) Mac SE today. It came from an auction for $15, whata sweet deal, huh? (when it came out 1n 1987, it cost $3,700). I'm calling him Sparky because it just suites the thing. All you ever wanted to know about my computer of the moment here

Jimmy Stewart's watching you
I saw the movie Rear Window for a film studies assignment and was quite impressed. It was looong, but the ending made up for it. Plus it made that simpsons episode all the more fun. I'll post my essay when it's done (which had better be by tuesday).
