Pretty Itsy.. i want to touch it..
The Itsy is a small handheld computer like the Palm Pilot, except it looks cooler (ie: ugly enough to love) and isn't actually for sale. Every once in a while news of it will be released to tease us. You can play Doom on it, watch movies (in black and white) and have it read you your emails out loud (assuming you can find a situation where that would be more useful than just reading the message yourself). See some movies of the cute machine we can't have here.

I am the lizzard king (drug news)
Got up to $12,000,000 on dopewars, which is the highest I've gotten too yet. Also found a page with an awful lot of information, including recipes and testiminials/experiences from readers who've tried the drugs in question. (The 'experiences' sections are the best part). See what happens before you put anything funky into your brain here.

Even more breast news
When we started this blog we didn't really intend breasts to play such a prominent role. So lets get this over with quickly. Close your eye's, put your head down and push down hard on the accelerator kind of thing. Go here and here.

Computers and vomit
My computer went nuclear this afternoon. Not my good computer, though.. I have two, my speedy main one (which rocks my world) and a black 233mhz Acer Aspire that I picked up at Future Shop for $50 because they said the motherboard was blown. It wasn't.. not for a few months at least. It just kinda did it's thing, trying not to make any trouble. But then in these past few day it's been refusing to start, so thinking it'd finally given up its struggle for life, I was about to canablize it for spare parts today when it suddenly sprang to life. It's scared the hell out of me since I had my hand on one of the cards and was about to pull it out when it came on. So I have no idea what's happening there. Maybe it's trying to kill me.
Also, I found a webpage called 'The Vomitorium.'

Webcams and general Spying
Found a coupla webcams this afternoon.. first are a bunch of streaming cams that update every second. This is how all cams should be. Watch them here. Then I went to Puce, which I used to visit a long time ago, but forgot all about. Then, somehow, I ended up at something called Spyonit. Acording to their FAQ you can get them to notify you when your name appears in USENET posts, tell you when webpages change, and do other things that I haven't found out about yet. Still, sounds interesting. And God knows I need some kind of alert for when my name shows up in the newsgroups.

Q) How many Freudians does it take to change a light bulb?
A) Two. One to change the bulb and one to hold the penis - I mean ladder.

Here in my car..
Had my first driving lesson today. It was also the first time I'd actually driven a car on the road, as I've been pretty happy to use busses for the past few years. But now it's time to move on to higher forms of transport, and that means the car. The first half hour was spent making right turns around a quiet residental block, which usually resulted in me making large slow turns into the left hand lane. Luckily there wasn't much traffic in that part of town. However, apparently eager to get me to test my newly learned abilities, the instructor got me to move downtown where there was a lot more cars for me to almost drive into. It was lunch time and everyone was out rushing to get something to eat before they had to go to back to work. That's where I learn't that one area for me to work on is that when I made a left shoulder check, the car would turn left too, except my head would still be off looking behind me and I wouldn't be able to see what dangers I was driving toward (which is amazingly relaxing). Making right shoulder checks also resulted in the car lurching right, except at least to the right-side there are mearly parked cars, not on comming traffic. When I came home afterwards I almost had a nervous breakdown.

U.S. to blow up moon
During the cold war America had the idea to set off nuclear bombs on the moon just to show the Russians how mighty they were. Read all about it here. In other space news, it turns out black holes might not actually exist. (All my years of black hole study down the toilet). You can read this juicy tidbit here.

Drug News
We just heard on the news that someone we know was arrested for having 12 pot plants in his basement. To commemorate the event we signed up for a free '@pot.com' email address at www.pot.com. But then, in the spirit of impartiality, we also read an article on refusal skills. So.. we broke even I think?

More phone fun
Found another page with some good crank calls.. but this time they're from England. Actually, almost all of these are funny, especially the one about putting up shelves and the one about the ventriloquist dummy found in the attic that can talk. It's very much a british sense of humour thing. Go listen.

Telephones are not toys
I'm not really a fan of crank calls, since they're usually mean spirited and hardly ever funny, but once in a while I find something that makes me laugh. Crazycalls.com is doing it for me this time round. Mostly. Some of it sucks, but the old woman with one lung who calls a restaurant to inquire about bathroom accommodations is awsome.

Gods and monsters (but mostly monsters)
The sea-monster that lives in B.C.'s Okanagan Lake now has a price on it's head of $2 million. It's name is Ogopogo (or as the natives of that region fondly refer to it: "The Lake Demon"). I went houseboating on that lake a coupla years ago, and I never saw anything. Although I think I saw a bear, but I don't think that's the monster.. unless bears can swim.. and are large dinosaur-like water-creatures.. but who knows for sure?
