Just one more for the road..
Alright, I have to post this one before I go.. A plane flew over the Big Brother house on the 23rd with the message "Big Brother worse than you think... get out now." Very nice, and they're going to do it again. Go to this website to vote on the next slogan.

Canada to save planet Earth; watch commies
Canada is sending up a space telescope that will look out for asteriods that are about to hit the planet. Then we would have an early warning system so that we can send up Bruce Willis and Steve Buscemi to save us from such things (or so I'd expect). The other use for this telescope will be that it will monitor Russian and Chinese spy satalites in high Earth orbit.

Take that, Olympics
An Australian student tried to snuff the Olympic torch on it way to start the Sydney Olympic games. However, he ended up missing the torch itself and spraying the runner and bystanders. Read the story here.

It came from the 80s
Remember the A-team? I grew up with that show. It's imprinted itself into my psychological makeup, just like everyone else who had their early childhood in the 80s. Along with those other shows from that time period, like Knight Rider and McGuyver. Actually, my family had a talking car once, except that it wasn't intelligent like KITT and didn't have William Daniels' voice. But it did say things like "Left car door.. unlocked," or "Right car door.. open." It was cool. Here are some photos from from Knight Rider.

But wait, I had a point here: there's a new A-team movie coming out.

Palm readings for just 2 cabbages and a chicken
Found this site which is an introduction to palmistry. Tells you which line is the heart line, which one is the life line, and which one is the ass line. I was worried to see that I have no Destiny Line.

Oh yeah, and we've moved..
We moved over to rocketpack.org last night. Huzzah! It's nice here, and the paint still smells fresh. The new address is rocketpack.org/pixilated/

Let a TV network rate your personality
If you think you're hot stuff and could win if you were on Survivor, go to the CBS survivor website and take their survivor personality test. Actually, I can't find the test on the CBS site myself, but that doesn't matter; you still see the questions they used here, hot stuff.
Random Answer: Rush out to your hut and hurl coconuts and insults at Francis until he runs away

God save the Queen, fish n chips
I moved to Canada from England when I was about 12, and my English accent never wore off. As a result, people who I talk to for the first time will react in certain ways: either they ask whether I'm Australian, are surprised by the accent (and kinda be distracted from what I'm saying), or giggle uncontrollably. And this isn't really a problem, because I react exactly the same way to people with Canadian and American accents too. But what is a problem is the actual linguistic difference in British English and North American English. Trouble usually centres around words like 'barmy,' 'sod,' and of course (oh God) 'rubber.' A good resource for help with this is the BritSpeak webpage, which has British-American and American-British dictionaries.

note: I found this link off of crystallyn.com, who I don't think is English herself, but she does have her own domain name, and I can relate to that, as I too am literally a webmaster now.

Domain Name Fever
I believe it's time I took advantage of this "internet" craze everyone is talking about. As a result, we've registered the domain rocketpack.org. (Should rocketpacks take over from cars, I'll be sitting on prime web real estate.) Either way, that's where I'll be moving Pixilated to in a while (as well as do other stuff I've been wanting to do but couldn't til now). We're not moving right this second (because I'm a slow learner) but I'll keep you informed. I'm also pressing my own email addresses now too.. so you can reach me at gavin@rocketpack.org if the mood suits you.

You keepa dancin', boy
In the theme of reality based television dancing (ie: The Richard Dance.. see below), here's The Eddie Dance. I swear Julie Chen's going to start seeping into my nightmares at some point.

This "web" is hot!
Well I'm of to look for a domain name. I don't know what we're gonna get, but I'm hoping all the good porn names haven't been snapped up yet.

I'm a Pretty
This is such a bad idea. Not only do you get "rated" based on your photo, but strangers leave messages critiquing your looks too. Niice.

Linux on a wristwatch
IBM has managed to port Linux to a small wristwatch. This is especially exciting from a technical standpoint because the watch in question was an analog wind-up watch with cogs and gears. This proves once again that Linux can do anything.

Update
<__kelly__> I saw your post on that linux watch
<sleepercivilian> oh yeah

Damn dirty apes
I was just watching a tv program about the Missing Link between ape ancestors and human ancestors. The weird part is that I was watching it alone in a dark room with lots of shadows, and as they showed a model of what the Missing Link's head would have looked like (which is a creepy mix of human and ape) I got a little scared and went to turn on the lights. But then I thought.. wait.. the missing link isn't scary. It's not going to creep through my window at night and try and kill me. Although I'm pretty good at scaring myself at nights, I don't think the Missing Link is supposed to be frightening.

Either way, to help me get over my fear of evolutionary crossroad animals, I've started playing the game "Name That Skull!" If that doesn't work, I'll just start denying to myself that there was such a thing as the "missing link" in the first place.

Dance, boy
Last week's Survivor was pretty good.. but Richard's victory dance was just weird.

I'm a big boy, part 2
I don't know why, but whenever I see that someone has mentioned me on their web page, I feel like shouting out "I'm a big boy." I don't know where this comes from, and it's perhaps a little wrong, but I have no intention of fighting it. Either way, I like adulation.net for a lot of reasons.. partly because I was mentioned there, sure, but also because the girl who runs it wanted Jordan to not be banished from the big brother house just so she would antagonize Karen more. Karen's about to go nuclear any day now.. plus, Brittany may even get taken out in her meltdown too.

Futurific
The future has finally arrived.. in the form of hover skateboards. Imagine how cool you'd look if you went downtown to skate with your buddies while riding on one of these puppies. It's just like the hover skateboards from Back to the Future 2, except these are a lot bigger, heavier, and it touches the ground. Go ahead, drop $1,400 on one of these sleek machines, you fool.

I'm a big boy
Hey, somebody thinks I'm "Very, very sweet." Alright, she was talking about my site, not me, but I'll take any ego rubbing I can grasp. Actually, I like this site, it makes me feel ten times cooler while I'm looking at it, but then when I stop looking at it, I feel like a looser again.

Back for more, hmmm?
Hey, Anti Porn's webpages are back. Probobly not really by him; it looks like someone just copied it and gave it it's own domain name or something. Relive the memories here.
