Moon News
Remember that time we went to the moon? Me neither, but apperently it was a pretty big event at the time. Eitherway, a group in New Mexico are trying to make the landing sites of the Apollo missions into national parks so that we can forever preserve the junk that the great astronauts of the 60s and 70s couldn't be bothered to bring home with them. Smart idea. Read about it here.

New Caption Contest
Time once again for the 52nd annual Pixilated Caption Contest. I closed the last one after someone finally made the obvious taco/fart joke (I was waiting a while for that). A new photo is up for your witty captions, you witty people, you.

Special offer for stupid people
If you've watched the American Big Brother lately, then you might know about the airplane banners that flew over the house and sent contestent George insane. Now, you can own a piece of history by buying a letter from one of the banners that flew over the house! How much? Only $49.95.

Forbiddenly Fruity
British music gone bad: The Rotten Fruit. The current episode involves the 'syrupy' band C5 almost bringing peace to Northern Ireland. Can The Rotten Fruit save the Irish from boy bands? Watch it now.

Raving
Without looking at the info page of this guy, your can just tell he must be a European raver. This is why I'm so bad at dancing; I can't get the arm movements right. People around me are going through complex hand motions, while my arms flop uslessly around my sides. (Although on the plus side, unlike Zorlim, I have facial expressions).

Mr. T links!
This morning I was going to school and someone told me I looked ‘scholarly’. I’ve never been called that before (albeit, I was smoking a pipe and wearing a monachal at the time). I used to dress in very scruffy cloths, embracing the grunge and hippy lifestyle, until one day a homeless bum came up to me in a public washroom and asked me if i was a ‘traveller’ too. Unsure whether this was a prelude to something rather unpleasant, I just said no and left. Since I didn’t really want to dress like a homeless bum, I brought new clothing and have apparently come to look ‘scholarly.’
I wonder what Mr T would do?

Rome: cool again
Gladiator made $183 million, and now there's a new tv series being made that is set in ancient Rome too. Are Romans going to be the next big thing?

Sleepy time
Yesterday I was asleep on a couch in one of the corridors (my school's filled with couches and sleeping people), and when I woke up I noticed all these women sitting in that same area were looking at me. I thought I'd been drooling or something, although my chin was pretty dry (a rare but welcomed event), so I don't know what that was about.

American Pie
I was just in the music dept. of campus when I walked past these girls who were unpacking their flutes, and one of them said: "One time, at band camp.." and everyone laughed. But really, shouldn't people who actually play flutes for a living be bored of that joke now?

Chunky Children
Family loses custody of overweight toddler
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --The parents of a 120-pound, 3-year-old girl say they have lost custody of the toddler because they couldn't control the girl's weight.
This is freaky. I didn't reach 120lbs until I was 6.

I miss my holiday
So I'm away for a week, and this is what happens? A company in Bangkok is building a robot security guard with no qualms about killing it's human masters. Listen, we should not be giving our machines handguns. If not robots, then something else is going to kick humanity's ass.
