It's a bad time to be poor
So did ya get your Playstation 2 this week? huh? did ya? If it wasn't for silly things like me having already spent all my money on books and university supplies, I know I would have. Actually, it's not so bad: nothing can compare to the active imaginaton of an young boy like me. Sigh. But if you're a hard core gamer, you won't settle for just any Playstation 2, no, you'll go and get one of those disturbingly overpriced ebay ones.

What are you?
I guess a political test is a little like a purity test. I'm a moderate liberal, and 99% like Al Gore. But then I'm Canadian, so it's no wind up my ass either way. Find out your political orientation here.

See cartoons dance
Nothing quite as useful as drawings of ravers doing their thing.

I say I say
I say, is it considered bad form to go back and re-edit your previous posts? Only I've been doing it for about six months now, but I've never really noticed anyone else do it. Not that I read many other blogs anyway. I used to read lots of them, getting excited at new ones, but now I've grown afraid of anything new.

Sneaky
I can't currently think why obscuring a web address would be useful at the moment, but I'm sure we'll come up with perfectly legitimate, non-spaming way to abuse this system in no time. Talking about span.. damit, when I hear the email-ding sound on my computer, I get all excited and rush downstairs, only to find that it's another letter telling me how to get cheap diplomas or penis enlargements.
Email makes you feel so cool. A while ago I was signed up with some mailing list so I was getting email's every 2 minutes or so. One night I was talking to my girlfriend, and she was getting upset because she kept hearing the new email sound in the background, and thought it was all my other girlfriends writing to me. Of course I didn't tell her the truth. I mean, sure I'm popular and cute..

God is too slow
Jesus hasn't made his second appearance yet, and now some Christians are getting restless. Enter The Second Coming Project, where the goal is to clone Jesus from the many relics that have Jesus blood and DNA on them (such as his preserved foreskin.. let's not forget he was Jewish). Why would we really want to do such a thing? To answer this question, the people at The Second Coming Project tell us right on their front page, in big capital letters:

IN ORDER TO SAVE THE WORLD FROM SIN, WE MUST CLONE JESUS TO INITIATE THE SECOND COMING OF THE CHRIST.

Well, there ya go.

Russians: bendy
If the Russians are known for anything, then it has to be the way they can hideously contort their bodies. As it turns out, I can't do this. However, I can bend my thumb all the way backwards so it touches my wrist (I'm the envy of all my school-yard chums).
Random Quote: Vika fancies spending her leisure time resting out in the nature with her best friends. She loves spring very much! Do you like it ,too ? And what about her pictures? We hope you like them

My technical skills amaze me
I've know Pixilated didn't look the same in Netscape as it does in IE for a while now. But it didn't look too awful and no one complained, so I left it. But today it got to me, so I spent the morning going over the damn thing and now.. huzzah! Now it looks the same in both browsers. Kinda.

Since I'm on the subject, I've been playing around with Opera for a coupla days. I'm not sure if I like it or not (it's determind to reorganize my favourites into alphabetical order.. grr), but it seems to be pretty speedy. Give it a try, you might like it. (Or not, who knows?)

England faces high-speed scooter chases
Police chased 38-year-old restaurateur Michael Saddington around the streets of North Yorkshire on Monday on his scooter. Riding on his "Go-ped," Saddington reached speeds of almost 20 mph.

Let's open up some windows
I think I've crossed a line. I walked into my bedroom tonight and noticed a bad smell, so I looked around for what I assumed would be a pile of cat crap hidden somewhere on the floor. Then I realized.. there wasn't any cat shit, that was the normal smell of my bedroom.

Mir: mouldy
According to this article, the Mir spacestation has apparently turned into my basement: moist and fungusy. That 'Destination Mir' tv show that's coming out next year is looking better and better.
Random Quote: the station had taken on a “mushroomy” smell

Vote, or don't
Apparently, in America some people don't vote in elections. Scary.. if you're not careful you might loose that delightful Martin Sheen to some Republican. In case you're one of those non voters, read this article and no longer hold your head in shame.

Technology at work
Since the V-Chip lets families block objectionable TV programming, is there a way to block un-objectionable programming? There is now, with The P-Chip, which one-ups the V-Chip by actually inserting porn into unsexy TV shows.

Little Cop
After a rock concert in Florida, 14 year-old girl was shocked to discover a photograph of a "big hairy penis" on her roll of film. During the concert, she'd asked police officer Michael LaVoie to take her camera up on stage to get the best shot he could, which he then felt would be of his "big hairy penis." The 14 y/o's aunt took the photo to the police who later confermed that the "big hairy penis" belonged to LaVoie. LaVoie has been suspended without pay. Read the whole article here.

Look at meee
Why are there so many rate my mug-shot sites up now? What happened to the old days when we only had classified ads to keep us occupied? Not that I'm complaining. Without the help of sites like these, how would else would I find a face that I could love for the rest of my life?
